Floydd the Giant-Killer -- just one page, so this is it.

I drew it right after Medusa as a sort of mental palette cleanser, to wipe away the melancholy of that story with a little cartoon-like violence :)

Yup, Floydd's holding the same sword as was used in the story "Winter" -- 'cause it's my sword. I traded a drawing a few years back for a real sword.

Now that was funny. He is now Floyd the Squishy Stain on the Ground.

Great work on the details, btw, especially the plaid. Drawing plaid is a sign of insanity, you know.

Thanks - - I've heard that about plaid and about Celtic knotwork. The toughest part was all the heather on the ground, but a few National Geographic articles on Scotland helped.

"Floydd the Squishy Stain" -- hmmm... sequel potential...? naaahh :)

It would be a very short sequel, I'm thinking. Although, you could have him finally find success as a giant slayer when another giant steps on his squishy remains, slips and breaks its neck in the fall. ;P
